BIOGRAPHY

Lars Chriss is a Swedish musician, producer, and songwriter, best known as the guitarist and founding member of the hard rock and heavy metal band Lion’s Share. Formed in 1987, Lion’s Share gained recognition within the international metal scene for its powerful blend of melodic and classic heavy metal sounds.
 

In addition to his work with Lion’s Share, Chriss has built a prolific career in production, mixing, and mastering, showcasing a versatile skill set that spans across the rock and metal genres. His contributions extend beyond guitar performance; he is widely respected for his production and mixing work for a diverse roster of international artists.
 

Career

Lars Chriss founded Lion’s Share in 1987 and has remained its only constant member. The band has toured Europe with acts such as Motörhead, Manowar, Dio, Saxon, Iced Earth, Nevermore, U.D.O., and Dee Snider, and performed at major European rock and metal festivals. Lion’s Share’s albums have featured appearances by current and former members of Megadeth, KISS, King Diamond, HammerFall, Symphony X, Yngwie Malmsteen, Candlemass, and others.
